libgcj15-awt software package provides AWT peer runtime libraries for use with gcj, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgcj15-awt
libgcj15-awt is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgcj15-awt package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgcj15-awt *
You will get with libgcj15-awt package name, version, architecture and description in a table
